Shining A Light on SENH Habitat for Humanity

January 2024: 

This month, we want to shine a light on our January Illuminating Impact winner, SENH Habitat for Humanity. SENH has a mission to eliminate poverty housing in Southeast New Hampshire. 

This organization partners with families whose income is above public housing guidelines and are unable to qualify for conventional mortgages. Qualified families are given a hand up, and they then pay a monthly no-interest mortgage to Habitat. These monies, in turn, go back into building more affordable homes. 

Since being established in 1994, SENH Habitat for Humanity has served Strafford County and 19 towns/cities in Rockingham county. Within this time, 30+ homes have been rehabilitated or built. 

At PORT Lighting, we are passionate about supporting impactful organizations through our Illuminating Impact initiative. Our company is proud to donate to this great organization, and value what they are doing for the local community.
