This month, we want to shine a light on our February Illuminating Impact winner, Birthday Wishes. The goal of this organization is to ensure that children experiencing the trauma of homelessness have the opportunity to celebrate their birthday joyfully, surrounded by family, friends, and others who care.
Birthday Wishes offers two programs. The first is their on-site program where they will provide monthly parties at shelters to celebrate all children, ages 1 - 18 years, with birthdays in that month. Their second program is their Birthday-in-a-Box Program which provides a party box and gifts to children and their families staying in domestic violence safe shelters, hotels, and scattered sites.
At PORT Lighting, we are passionate about supporting impactful organizations through our Illuminating Impact initiative. Our company is proud to donate to this great organization, and value what they are doing for the local community.
